The Yogi

I have several teacher "in spirit". Some new and some since I can remember. After some fairly intense meditations my Yogi sat opposite to me and spoke. I made some notes, but he is not far from me so I may add in what he says. He is an elderly Indian man with long hair and a long grey beard. He has yellow and white tilaka on his forehead. When I first saw him, he marked my forehead and the centre of my palms with yellow too.

I started my meditation and was given images of Antelope Canyon in Arizona. Though very beautiful it made me feel slightly claustrophobic. I then started hearing his voice.

"Water sculpts the Earth. Feelings create who we are based on who we were, yet where ever a river runs there is life. Plant trees. They hold water, hold feelings in the landscape of your being, protecting all.

There is a Universe in you. Full of stars and planets and galaxies. Planets full of rivers and mountains. Yet here you are. An individual. A person. Such a small thing. How can you express that hugeness and tininess? 

There are five seeds of consciousness

I am and I am not.

I am alive and I am not.

I hope and I hope not.

I feel and I feel not.

I am you and I am not.

They are the rocks in the stream of thought. They are seeds that grow trees. The beginning of avalanches."

.  I do not claim to understand all he said and I am sure it will reveal it's self as I go along and live.No spirit has the whole truth and neither do I claim to know it. Yet it seems fair in these times of darkness, hate and trouble to share the light and wisdom as best as I am able.
